Flying Solo

July 10, 2018

“We let you do whatever you want all your life. You cannot repay us like this!”

“Did you think we will take this silently? We did not raise you and give you the best level of education for you to squander it away like this!”

“What is the use of your medical degree if you waste your time doing this?”

Beta, this job will not pay well. In fact, its not a job at all! How will you able to take care of yourself and your children?”

The arguments were thrown relentlessly at her. She said only this.

“Mom, Dad, I love you both and my family very much. But, that multi-specialty hospital is a money-minting corporate hell-hole. I cannot do justice to my education and skills here. I can’t take it anymore. I am determined to start my free clinic.

I am extremely sorry, but this bird is flying solo“.
