Dawn came again
And brought the dew back.
The world woke up from its slumber.
The baby crow watched the withered branch,
Drank in the breeze of change,
And contemplated the world.
Dawn came again
And brought the warmth back.
After what seemed like a lifetime.
The baby crow hopped onto the fruit-laden branch,
Drank in the yellow sunshine,
And contemplated the world.
Dawn came again
And brought winds and a black blanket
The heavens seemed to growl.
The crow perched on the dark green, swaying branch,
Drank the first droplets,
And contemplated the world.
Dawn came again
And brought chilly winds
This quietness and white seemed familiar
The crow sat on the barren branch,
Drank in the frosty air,
And flew out to explore the world.
